Mollusk 10 Groop Show

This Saturday, Mollusk Surf Shop will be celebrating 10 years with their largest family art show to date.

New work will be on display from the Mollusk crew including Jeff Canham, Nat Russell, Geoff McFetridge, Thomas Campbell, Johanna St.Clair, Serena Mitnik-Miller, Peter McBride, Schuyler Beecroft, Jay Nelson, Rachel Kaye, Kyle Field, Alex Kopps, Kanoa Zimmerman, Will Adler, Dave Muller, Luke Bartels, Joe Curren, Andy Davis, and John McCambridge.

Opened in 2005 by John McCambridge and Johanna St. Clair, Mollusk is much more than a surf storefront. With locations in San Francisco, Venice Beach and Silver Lake (plus a brief time in Williamsburg), the SF Outer Sunset original outpost is a beloved gathering place and cultural space: hosting art happenings, music shows, craft fairs, film screenings and in the past housing many of the artists.

Over the past 10 years Jeff Canham has made huge contributions to Mollusk. He has shown in the gallery, designed graphics, painted almost all the signs you see in and around our shops, designed our fonts, and as a bonus executes an above average cut-back.

Nat Russell is the funniest most insightful dude....ever? Nat has made some of the most iconic Mollusk tee graphics including Lurker, Sea Kat, Push Mongo..... the list goes on and on. Nat has also designed tons of posters for us including the Mollusk Jamboree and the posters for our upcoming 10 Year Anniversary Music and Art shows.

If Thomas Campbell hadn't made the classic surf film "The Seedling" would Mollusk exist? The dude has a casual mastery of such a wide variety of mediums.......painting, film, sculpture, photography, opinions.....we're lucky to have him as a friend and collaborator. Love you T-Moe!

When Johanna St. Clair isn't busy running clothing production here at Mollusk she is creating some of our most iconic graphics. She is responsible for all of the kids tees as well as the Olde Whale and tons of other rad drawings & paintings.

Kyle Field a.k.a. Little Wings is the the closest thing Mollusk has to a spirit animal. He's a multi-talented artist who is truly tapped into the source, shredding every conceivable medium.....painting, music, surfing, comedic impressions, etc. Kyle has made us tons of graphics, played music in the shop, and kept us all in stitches.
