Jenny Pennywood
From her light-filled studio, Jen produces a wide range of projects: large-scale oil paintings, watercolor drawings on paper, textiles, custom design for events, and home goods.Jen operates under her ‘alter art persona’ Jenny Pennywood for her graphic design and illustrative work—in order to distinguish from her fine art career—but the inspiration for both personas is the same: color, pattern, line quality, shape, form, composition, move- ment, gesture, texture and the physicality of the materials.

Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration from so many places but mostly through the “process” – the more I work, the more I find, the more I find makes me want to keep working and trying new things. . . . I’m very inspired by process.
