VATA : Air + Either : Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person. Vata is the dosha associated with the energy of movement and that which governs our nervous system. Poppy and Someday is Herbalist and Ayurvedic Practitioner, Kari Jansen. Kari is a graduate of the California School of Herbal Studies, the Dhyana Center, the Ayurvedic Institute of America and also holds a B.S. in Health and Nutrition. She has combined her passion for plants with her love of gardening, wildcrafting and herbal medicine making to bring Poppy and Someday. This name is inspired by plants and their remarkable ability to heal and teach. Often referred to as a “Cup of Gold,” the California Poppy evokes a childlike joy and sense of calm for those in its presence.
