Elena Chien is a jewelry designer based in Los Angeles. Taught at an early age to navigate the bustling marketplace by her Chinese grandfather, Elena is a collector and a treasure hunter. Traveling to markets around the world, she has accumulated beautiful collections of textiles, beads, talismans, and artifacts. These brass bells are made in the Ashanti region of Ghana, using the ancient lost wax technique. Each bell is one of a kind, measuring about .75 inches long. It is paired with a small clamshell from Senegal, a brass bead, and pink coral. All are on a nylon cord, decorated with brass. The necklace measures 28" in length.
