Skip the costly spa treatments and DIY! My simple self care seaweed mask uses agar agar (white seaweed flakes- a secret raw pastry ingredient when making gels), clean water, and hawaiian spirulina.

1 Tablespoon Agar Agar (sea vegetable flakes)
1 Cup Spring Water
1 tsp Hawaiian Spirulina
Wash your face with your chosen cleanser. Add 1 Tablespoon agar agar to the spring water in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer a few minutes until the flakes are dissolved. Last, add the spirulina. Stir until a gel starts to form. Quickly apply your seaweed gel to your skin and let it dry. You can even massage it in. Leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off in shower or sink (make sure to cover your drain with a mesh screen).
